Virage Helicopter Academy is CAA approved to carry out flight and ground training for the issue of a PPL(H) and also offers self-fly hire to qualified helicopter pilots.
Our focus is entirely on quality training and ensuring that the environment we teach in is both highly professional as well as being fun and enjoyable. Our aim is to provide a platform for pilots to learn and develop skills that will help them towards becoming a safe pilot.
Virage Helicopter Academy operates the Schweizer 269 series of helicopter from our base at Beccles Airfield (EGSM) East Anglia. This well proven solidly built aircraft was designed specifically for training in mind, therefore making it more forgiving than other training helicopters.
