Becker Helicopters is an international Helicopter Flight Training school offering both Civil and Military courses. We conduct courses for PPL, CPL, night ratings, instrument ratings, type conversions and night vision goggles. We also specialise in advanced training including sling and long line, formation, advanced tactics, mountain, confined and low flying, multi engine conversions, fire fighting training and more.
We have produced and conduct all of our own internal theory courses which are available on either paper or electronic format either through CD, Flash drive or the internet where we operate our own blackboard system for testing and teaching. Additionally we sell trainng DVDs and books.
We have 15 full time experienced instructors with our lowest time instructor having over 1000 hours and our most experienced with over 14000 hours. Our average hours of experience for an instructor sits around 5000+ hours. We offer a fleet of 13 helicopters including Bell206 Jet Ranger, AS350 Squirrel, Robinson R22 and R44, Bell 47, Agusta A119 Koala, and Agusta A109 Power and Grande.
We are fully CASA and Education Department approved so as well as offering international students visas our Diploma course will count as credits for other tertiary (University) courses.
